Nance

Hi I’m Nance Moran, creator and co-owner of Life is Dog. I am also an experienced and educated veterinary technician and I hold an MS in Biology where I’ve held a long-term career as a Scientist.  This supports our scientific-based reinforcement-based dog training approach. I am also a certified trainer CPDT-KA and currently I also have my Diploma of Canine Behavior and Science Technology (DipCBST) for Behavioral Modification. I share my life with my husband Dean, Bruin (beagle mix), and Charlee (golden).  I enjoy training, constant learning through continuing education and collaboration, novice freestyle, camping and fireside friends.  Life is Dog was born in love and a superior petcare model celebrating individual needs and the quality of care.

Roberta

Hi my name is Roberta and my dog in the background is Fred, known to his friends as Freddie Spaghetti! I have always had a passion to work with animals. I started with Life is Dog in 2015 as a walker/pet sitter. I worked my way up to become the Walker Supervisor. I also had a passion for dog training so Nance and Dana provided me with the opportunity to become an apprentice trainer. I am a CPDT-KA certified dog trainer and I currently teach obedience classes with LID.

Kim

Hi, I’m Kim!  I’ve worked for Life is Dog for 5 years as a down to earth, trustworthy professional dog walker.  I’m a University of Vermont alumni and a proud parent of a German Shepherd, Brodie.  Before Life is Dog, I worked for a land surveying company working on the Big Dig in Boston.  After that, I decided to stay home to raise two wonderful daughters.  Dogs of all sizes, from a Dachshund to German Shepherds, have always been a big part of my life since I was born.  I became a dog walker to follow my strong love for the outdoors and dogs.  One of my hobbies is photography and I love taking pictures of my 4 legged friends!”

Steph

Hi my name Steph, I’m with my two dogs Ranger (on my lap) and Ania (known to her friends as Onion). I started with Life is dog in November of 2017 as a doggie daycare attendant and have worked my way up to Assistant Team Leader.   I love working with the dogs and creating different games for them to play while they are at daycare. There is nothing better than sending home a tired & happy pup.

Jess

Hi I’m Jess. I have been with LID for almost 4 years. Although I am primarily a walker you will also see me around the daycare from time to time. I enjoy being outside and love animals of all sizes. I can’t wait to meet your furbaby!!

Matt

Hello my name is Matt! I’m a Gemini, and boy howdy do I love me a good dog! Like dogs are like 7x better than people! But seriously I have an Associates’s Degree in Animal Care from Becker College.  I have been with LID since 2016 when we opened our puppy daycare with only 3 dogs!  We are now up to over 30 dogs/day and we are very proud of our low dog to attendant ratio, making for a very happy and stress free environment for the dogs.

Kelsey

Hi, I’m Kelsey! I’ve always had a love of dogs and being outdoors. I’ve been a walker with Life Is Dog for about five years now. When I’m not working, I’m at home spoiling my own dog with walks and treats. I have a degree in photography which I try to put to good use when taking pictures of the dogs.

Dana

Hi, I’m Dana Langley, co-owner of Life is Dog, I’m with my two Vizsla’s, Maizee Mae & Reese Cup.  I have loved animals all my life and after a very successful business career in the restaurant industry I decided to make a change and follow my love of animals.  I started at Life is Dog as a part-time ABC Certified Dog Trainer in January 2016 and very quickly realized this was what I wanted to do with the next chapter of my life.  I joined Nance as her business partner in April 2016 and have not looked back!  I truly enjoy training and working with people and their dogs helping them make the best life possible together.
